Bellarmine University (BU) is an inclusive college campus situated in Newburg Rd, Louisville. The Donna and Allan Lansing School of Nursing offer a traditional BSN program, an accelerated 2nd degree option and an RN to BSN option. They also offer various master's level and doctoral programs for students who desire to further their education after graduating with their BSN degree. It was hailed as the 2nd best nursing college in Kentucky. Its School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences is a member of American Association of Colleges of Nursing and emphasizes innovative and inclusive education. It has partnered with more than 100 community and health care centers.

Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) - BU’s BSN program is CCNE-accredited and Kentucky Board of Nursing-approved. It focuses on teaching leadership and critical-thinking skills; and classes are taught in small sizes. In terms of clinical immersions, BU is conveniently located near the nation’s best clinical and major healthcare centers. To be admitted, a student must first gain entry to BU and complete the BSN designated courses. Admission is non-competitive.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing - This accelerated second degree BSN program can be taken in three options—in one, two, or three years. The one year, or 12-month option is designed for individuals with non-nursing baccalaureate degrees. This is an intensive three-semester option. Students may also opt for the accelerated two-year or part-time three-year option.

Doctorate Online Nursing Practice (DNP) - For students who want to obtain a terminal degree in nursing, BU offers two ways to complete a DNP degree—through the Post-Master’s DNP Program and the BSN-DNP Program in Leadership. For individuals with a master’s degree, the post-master’s option has two tracks, the Advanced Nursing Practice and the Executive Leadership. Depending on track selected, credit hours can range from 35-38 hours, conducted fully online. Meanwhile, the 68-credit hour BSN track with concentration on leadership designed for BSN graduates. It is offered fully online as well.

Master of Science Online - The Master of Science Program is offered 100% online and can be completed in two years. Students are expected to complete two courses per semester. This comes in two tracks—Administration and Education. The former places emphasis on the healthcare’s financial and economic aspects, while the latter is focused on health education and staff development.

Nursing (MSN) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Track - This online FNP program prepares individuals for certification through the ANCC or AANP upon program completion. Aside from its online coursework, it also requires three on-campus visits. In terms of FNP certification performance, BU’s FNP track has an impressive 100% rate for first-time takers in years 2019 and 2020.

 Online RN-to-BSN Program - This 33-credit RN-BSN program can be completed in 15-months. Its online delivery and no on-campus obligations allows for flexibility and convenience for working individuals. It is taught in small class sizes to better provide learning support.
