DeSales University Nursing Programs - NCLEX Passing Rates and Program Rankings

This allows for a faster completion of an MSN degree. Graduation from the program provides eligibility to sit in the NCLEX-RN.
Nursing: Full-Time Major (BSN), BSN - This four-year program provides experiential learning opportunities to prepare students for their roles as registered nurses. Curriculum includes topics such as mental health, pharmacology, and nutrition. Capstone clinical is required in the senior year. Meanwhile, a part-time evening/weekend option for BSN program is also available.
MSN Degree Programs - Several tracks for MSN are offered at DeSales University. The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Program is conducted through in-class, online, or hybrid format with full-time and part-time study options. The same format and study options are available for the MSN in Forensic Nursing with Certification in Investigative Forensic track.
Dual Degree MSN Programs - For students wanting to obtain another degree while working their way through MSN, they can enroll in the MSN + MBA: Nursing and Business Administration Dual Degree or the MSN + MSIS: Data Analytics Dual Degree, MSN + MSIS. The curriculum is a blend of theoretical knowledge and application.
Nurse Practitioner Programs - Offered in full-time and part-time study options, the nurse practitioner programs at DeSales University provides eligibility to sit in the respective certification exams. The offered tracks are: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), Family/Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Coursework delivery is through an online or hybrid/Flex format.
BSN- DNP Degree Programs - Baccalaureate-prepared nurses can complete their master’s coursework while concurrently working towards their DNP degree. This allows for a fast and flexible degree completion. The degree can be completed in 15 semesters for a full-time study. Available tracks for this BSN-DNP option are: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
DNP + MBA: Doctor of Nursing Practice - Students can also simultaneously earn a DNP and MBA degree through this program. Because of the program’s flexible program, students can continue working while pursuing studies. Options for full-time or part-time study are also available. Tracks for this DNP+ MBA program are Clinical Leadership and Executive Leadership.
Doctor of Nursing Practice - This fast and flexible program allows DNP completion in just 7 or 10 semesters for a full-time and part-time study, respectively. The program has an annual start every August, with weekend on-campus residency. Available tracks are in Clinical Leadership and Executive Leadership.
