Named after its location, Waynesburg University is an MSCHE-accredited private educational institution. Aside from its Main Campus in Waynesburg, this non-profit university also has a Southpointe Center in Canonsburg. Students in its Department of Nursing will receive one-on-one attention from full-time nursing faculty. Doctor of Nursing Practice - With 36 credit hours required, this program can be completed in three years or four years. The said years of completion are for 12 and 9 credits per year, respectively. Through a mix of 8- and 16-week courses, students are equipped with skills designed for leadership and various high-level positions in the healthcare industry.
