The New York Institute of Technology offers a BSN program that is CCNE accredited. Students will have vast clinical, leadership and educational experiences and will learn how to provide quality care to various patient groups. NYIT nursing students will also have research opportunities in partnership with faculty, as well as the ability to attend conferences and participate in campus health fairs. There’s a strong sense of community within the nursing department. Faculty members take a student-centered approach by providing academic and career counsel and assistance.

NYIT prepares students through the use of advanced technology and simulation exercises and diverse clinical experiences in major New York area hospitals, extended care facilities, and ambulatory community clinics. NYIT’s Department of Nursing focuses on transcultural nursing, which is a holistic approach to patient care that considers and respects personal beliefs, experiences and values. NYIT’s program is competitive and offers admissions once annually in the fall.
